It was an auto draft I'll probably be moving at least two of the B's players so that I'll be able to have a full lineup on most nights even when the B's are off. Normally I agree with you but with the depth of defensive scoring I have it shouldn't effect the offensive output if I can pakcage 2 of my B's for a solid offensive performer.

Since we have been so slow getting members from here to sign up for the fantasy league I have also posted an invite on the fantasy sports board. I will now start taking any members of HF that would like to join so we can try and get the league as full as possible. The info for sign up is within this thread or you can just shoot me a PM and I'll give you the info if your interested.

Little concerned having that many B's I moved some players up the draft board but never expected to get that many. But I'm excited to say the least about my D and G positions. Any thoughts?
Okay so I made a couple moves on the waiver wire to try and fix some of the problems I saw. I was mainly trying to increase offensive production, improve my teams +/-, and add some more PIM. Still looking to move a couple of B's preferably for a premier RW. Took a chance on Brassard but I feel if he can stay healthy he should be able to easily put up 60-70pts this year.

Fantasy Hockey

Anybody planning on doing a league here? I am already running a fantasy football league (so I need something low maint), but would be interested in joining an Autodraft league if anybody is going to do one.

Was able to fix my too many B's issue by trading Ryder and Wheels for Vanek and Clarkson. Have one more minor move left to try and get a 5th D-man and the roster will be complete. I am now stacked at D, G and LW and realize RW is somewhat weak but it will give me solid +/- and PIM. Center is my hopeful position if Brassard and Bergeron can rebound I could be doing very well there. Any thoughts?

The league I set up for members here is currently at 11 people we will be taking people up to the max of 20. However if we are at an even number a couple of days before the draft I may change it to that number since you need an even amount to play. Draft for the league is Sept 21 at 9p.m.
League ID# 102322
Password Bruins

Feel free to sign up and play against other HF members.

Just joined and it looks like I am the 15th. Any thoughts of setting up divisions with that many teams?

No because the only thing divisions does is split up the standings. You still play everyone in the league. The reason I don't want to do it is because you could end up with one strong division and a weak one and the weak one gets rewarded with playoff spots.

I just filled that spot...played a bit of fantasy baseball, which was mildly amusing but I'm not a big fan so definitely going to have more fun with hockey.

Mark Stuart? Not fantasy worthy if that's what you're getting to.

So the 20 team league that I set up here had our draft last night these are the results for my team.

Center
Steven Stamkos
Nathan Horton
Matthew Lombardi
Eric Belanger

Right Wing
Jarome Iginla
Mark Recchi
Antti Mettinen
Ian Laperriere
Jordin Tootoo

Left Wing
Ray Whitney
Chris Kunitz
Cory Stillman

Defense
Shea Weber
Rob Blake
Joe Corvo
Marc-Edouard Vlasic
Carlo Colaiacovo

Goalies
Tim Thomas
Mike Smith
Tuukka Rask

Overall I'm pretty happy but would welcome any wisdom or comments. Remember though this is a 20 team league though so there really is nothing left on the waiver wire any moves would need be done through trade.

Sorry I sent everyone a reminder E-mail. Unfortunately with this many teams your really going to have to search for hidden gems on the waiver wire I will say there is probably not much left. Only other option is work your magic and pull off some trades. One thing to consider though is that its a 20 team league so as you can see from the team I posted above no team is as stacked as your probably used to in fantasy.

I actually just looked at your team and considering it was all auto draft you came out of it okay def some moveable assets there to upgrade through trades. I think you will do better then you think. Id focus on a goalie upgrade. Staal, Carter and Marleau will give some solid offense Clarkson and O'Brien give you PIM. Streit will give you decent pts from the backend. I wouldnt be disapointed with that squad at all.
