I sure hope so. I only ask, why all the talk of tweaked groins? Could they pick a subject that would cause the fanbase to freak out any more?

I'd rather them tell me they're just taking it easy on the guy... much less worry from this guy at least.

All I can say is what I've been told.

You never know, there could have been some injury that happened since last week. I can't guarantee anything there.

It's been said over and over again that he's not 100%. He has a sore groin. Happens to 95% of NHL players once they start heavy skating again after a long summer. Given his history of injuries, why even risk skating? He has nothing to prove in training camp. The goal is for him to be as close to 100% once the season starts.

Is it just me, or does this thread title freak you out a little every time I see it near the top of the page. Can't wait until the thread dies so I can get another man's groin out of my head.

Gaborik is a terrible interview, i know they didnt bring him in for that - but it feels like the reporters are pulling his teeth.

wait til hes 100% and you see how fast he is...ungodly...fast enough for the gaby specific play of skying the puck toward the offensive zone and him catching it...serious hail mary action

Whats awesome about gaby: the kid can score and would put up 30 goals even if he played a half season

Whats bad: everytime he falls down or gets checked you will be watching him until he rests safely on the bench

For what we have been through over the weekend, I would have expected something along those lines.

"Gaborik scores 7 times in the first minute into scrimmage."

Id like to see him this preseason at some point, but not too much. He needs some game time to develop some chemistry i think. ut him with Prospal and see how that works.

Can't say I'm too surprised. Hopefully it was just nothing like expected.

Good to hear him scoring in the scrimmage. I can't wait to see this guy in action.

Yeah, that's typical. He's a really shy, private person, and for the first few years over here, he struggled badly with English. He's better at it now, but still seems very self-conscious about it, and isn't very talkative.

He does try, though. He really does try to be open with the media, and to make himself accessible. He's a really decent kid. He's just not your outgoing, outspoken, grab-the-nearest-microphone type. A guy can only be who he is.
