Lol. Yeah, but he expected to pass but then the hole they left him was too wide open, sounds like. So he drove in.
Pete said just before that, that those guys had it in the zone so long they were getting tired. Then he said they had three very good scoring chances on that shift. Sweet!

Ok, do we have a line tonight to get scoring other then Legwand's line?
Ahh, they just said something about Hornqvist having good scoring chances. Of course he's big on "chances"...

Hamhuis and Klein were out there for the goal. Sounds like Klein still hasn't figured out how to stay in position as the play comes back into the neutral zone.

At least he won't be on the roster when we break camp.
Anybody think the next round of cuts will be announced tonight?

Yeah, I don't really like Olvecky from what I've seen. Not to mention he took Fiddler's bender number.

Actually, Laakso has lost some weight. He was something like 93 kg a few seasons ago and now he's below 90 (87 I believe). Someone can convert those to lbs if they will.
It's weird because he never seemed like the kind of guy that had something to lose in that department. In fact I'm pretty sure that when he was playing in Finland for HIFK he had one of the lowest fat percentages on the team... yes, even below the goalies... He's one of those gym training nuts...
EDIT: Who's Crispy? And who did Laakso actually pair with today? It looks like he got a ton of PK TOI, which to me is always the biggest sign of trust.

Former NHL coach Terry Crisp, our tv and radio analyst.
Edit, since I'm not sure about Laakso. Thought it was Sulzer, but he did PP time with Thurreson, and briefly was on the ice with Hamhuis.

Laakso paired with Sulzer tonight on defense for the second straight night...
