Horrible game, but you gotta love that, even in a 6-1 defeat, Cammalleri, A.Kostitsyn and Johansson are the only players not minus (-) tonight! The first line did nothing worth mentioning, but were not bad defensively. Bad night for the D. I guess the Sens were hungrier than us.

I know it's just preseason, but that was utterly terrible. Montreal's top line was invisible and was outplayed by what will be an average regular season 2nd line. PP was dismal again. I hope they can pick it up soon.

first line was ok
second line kind of invisible except for Pacs
Sergei was good for his first game with contact.
The D was not good.
Price give a bad goal

and I don't think people will make a Neilson trade today

Dude, Boston lost to the Rags 5-2, yet they are still chosen by the experts tonight to finish 1st ! Weird huh ?

I blame lack of french players. No other reasonable explanation.

As for the game tonight, the one thing I was disappointed to see was the lack of effort. I was much more impressed with the effort that was put out by our B line up last night.

Now I have to endure all these Kovalev ********ers that used to think they were "habs fans" (nothing against Kovy)

Oi, what a game. Heh. Look forward to tomorrow and a new one

I thought a few players had good games despite the lopsided score and considering what I expected from them (IE: met or exceeded expectations);

Ryan White - I thought he had a much better game tonight and was certainly not invisible to me. He had great hustle and made himself seen. Threw some big hits and had a solid offensive showing. I was impressed.

Scott Gomez - Obviously his line did not impress much tonight, but I thought he still did. Man can this guy keep cool and break through opposing pressure. He is great at that and even better at passing. He was threading some beauties tonight.

Mikael Johannson - I thought he too played a very solid game. He showed some good offensive instincts and made some nice plays ala Ryan White without the physical play.

I also thought O'Byrne, Patches, Desjardins and Spacek were serviceable tonight. The rest didn't impress me at all. But I'm not concerned to say the least, just looking forward to being impressed tomorrow!

Enough of Koivu, he was invisible tonight. Trade him.
