Oh and the Kostitsyns should really stop hanging around with Mangiola... it's destroying their career....

I believe on HIO, or possibly here, the cuts will happen on the 22nd. So indeed after the 5 in 5. Maybe some cuts could be made after tomorrow's game, but i doubt it (would depend on how many regulars play I suppose).

Well,
From the bit I saw, it was a "rag tag" bunch who played tonight, not a good mix, hard to jive when half your team won't make the NHL.
That being said, there are also some adjustments that must be made, the team showed they could win, and this loss showed them where they're going to lose some. This loss is good for the team.

Yes, Jacques Martin confirmed post-game that the cuts would begin after the next two games.

Was at the game, here are my thoughts:

HABS

- Sergei is not making the team if he can't put more heart to it than that.

- Pacioretty played a good game. What a hit on Kovy!

- White also played a good game.

- None of the vets were really there to win it seems.

- Belle, Anderson and Benoit... Hmmm... yeah... well...

SENS

- Regin, Fisher & Foligno was terrific.

- Leclaire made the saves.

- The end.

exhibition match.
I have nothing to add!!

YESSSS

I mean it's hard for some of them to get motivation in some regular match .. Do you really think they give a damn hell about pre-season match(Ok maybe Kovalev .. But Kovalev won the All star Trophy last years lol)

They just want to get through it without getting injured or sweating to much .

But So the senators or any team . It's does not mean they can't beat the habs 6-1 during the season. It's only mean both team don't give a hell (Outside of rookie) and they just play to oil those leg.

darkest day in habs pre season history

I havent seen the hilites yet but is it fair to say that price wasnt bad tonight? I could care less about the results, but I'm hoping Price can build some confidence in the pre season and take it into the real season.

I finally figured out who WhiteSnake is!! Mike Boone from HabsInsideOut!!

http://www.habsinsideout.com/boone/21416

Carey Price? Not good.

He was beaten four times on a mere 16 shots, and at least two looked stoppable.

The Franchise took it in stride. Wearing an open-neck sports shirt and flashing some impressive bling, a diamond-studded cross, Price seemed not unduly disturbed by a mediocre outing.

If you are referring to Foligno-Regin-Fisher, they will likely end up as the Sens 3rd line.

I know it was a terrible loss, but it was preseason, and the more I see of Gomez, Cammalleri, Spacek, the more I can't wait for this season to begin. Mara and Gill I hope to see improve though. I honestly think it may be possible that somebody takes one of their spots. O'Byrne (as a hater of his) has been really good lately. I hope the kid pans out during the regular season, he's been leaps and bounds better then last season already. I know it's preseason so we'll have to wait till the season starts to be sure, but not signing komi is looking more and more realistic as time goes on. Then again, would you take Komi instead of Gill+Mara given or current defensive situation? We'll have to see how those 3 players play during the season I guess.

It was bound to happen...

The sens didnt want to go 0-3... they were kinda pumped up
If they lost this one... I would be embarassed
Last game we won 2-1... but they dominated us in the 1st period, we played way better in 2nd and 3rd and won. We saw what Gomez and Cammy can do.

Its not that bad we are 2-1 so far in preseason ..
1st game against ottawa, we had a way lesser team than Ott with
Spezza/Alfredsson/Michalek against Plek/Gionta/Dagostini? lol and we won

Price didnt play very well but he also got unlucky a bit..
Gomez played decent but we didnt see Cammy alot
Im guessing they dont want to get injured before 1st season game..
It's only preseason, its clear they will play better than this. Just like A.Kost
