Tampa fans would be sitting on here saying "we paid him how much? And he's not playing until when?"
Honestly, no offense, but when I heard that there was a possibility of management trying to bring him in, I thought it was a stupid idea...and that is almost strictly because of his price, and the fact that TBL is a budget team. Who knows what the team would look like now? With all of that being said, he is a hell of player.
I'm going to go with the consensus, the guys we can give money to are Lecavalier, St. Louis, Smith, Stamkos, and Hedman. Everyone else needs to be guys that compliment them, and Hossa is another big contract, it just wouldn't have worked out at all.
