I saw Henry with the bandaged hand. Didn't think it would be that confusing to you.

Did you miss the . Here it is again for future reference.

Henry could have had the bandage from one ill advised punch to Carkner's helmet. Or perhaps he was just carrying around bandages in case he needed to change the one on his face. (there it is again)

I think he was the best defenseman yesterday. And I know it was only one game... but I don't like what I've seen from Gill. He's very very slow, isn't a hitter and didn't clear much the front of the net. Mara wasn't looking good too in the first period but his play improved after the first 20 minutes.

Carkner is definietly no slouch with the fists either. I thought he would fed Henry his lunch right from the start. The Habs defence isn't very physical either. OByrne did fight Gregory Campbell so at least he is trying, but Campbell is definielty no Carkner!
I was starting to thing that I was the only one noticing how well he played. Not flashy by any means, he'll definitely never crack our top 4-5, but he was solid defensively and physical back there. O'Byrne's only advantage that I've seen so far is the fact that he's right handed.

He is similar to Odie in stature and game play.

If the club decides to have the younger D men play in the AHL there could be a chance to see him make it.
Thanks for the info. Very interesting.

Sarcarstic? What are you married to the guy? He got his ass handed to him by Carkner. Who cares if he had a bandage on his hand. Whatever caused it, it certainly wasn't from connecting on Carkner's exposed head. However, his face did a heck of job connecting with Carkner's fist.

Here pick one: If there was one for your delusions, I'd pick it. :

Agreed. I feel the same about you. Having said that I will issue a full apology should you find someone else on this board who thinks as you do. Your eloquent first words in this thread were: "Don't discount the him too quickly with that fight".

Here's the video: The "oh's" from the announcers weren't from the mighty blows Henry delivered.

This. Henry can't fight and doesn't check that hard. He is a career NHLer.

You probably meant career AHLer.

Henry is pretty good and he's not afraid to drop em.

I like him more than O'Byrne that's for sure. Even if O'Byrne got some potential and Henry is nothing more than a #7 at best.

Didnt you see the first game against Ott?? He was the worst player on the ice..

Actually, I based my opinion on that game. Unlike what you're saying, he played a solid game.
