OT: Idea for 2009-2010 Pierre ad campaign

So I miss ol' Pierre, our favorite star of the Chicoutimi Summer C League. I was thinking about him today and came up with the idea for a commercial or interstitial spot.

It opens with Pierre walking into the dressing room, being greeted by Coyotes players as he enters. He stops briefly and asks someone (Doan, maybe), "Anything exciting happen while I was tearing up the C League?" Then Doan would say something about the ownership issues, whereupon Pierre would angrily say, "Show me who is responsible for this!"

Cut to a scene on the ice. A Balsillie lookalike is holding a Jerry Moyes marionette and dancing him at the center ice dot. Suddenly, a puck shoots out of nowhere and creams the Moyes marionette, knocking its head clean off its shoulders. Cut to Pierre, who says:

"Der is only room for ONE puppet in this city, Jack!"

Anyway, it was an amusing idea, I thought.

I just don't think there are too many people all that familiar with the specifics of the situation, unfortunately.

Made me laugh, though.

All I know is the Election Campaign was brilliant.
But I still enjoy the Keith Ballard commercial most of all.

I think Pierre and his checking line need to go head to head with a few of our new "tough guys"
