What's the deal with PK? Is he hurt? If he's healthy then obviously Martin isn't that interested in giving him any kind of a chance.

Definitely our strongest line up yet. Glad to see that, especially since the game is on TSN2 tonight! I am not happy that Crosby and Malkin are playing though, but at least we have 3-4 competent defensemen...

Definitely looking forward to seeing all our new offensive guns in action tonight!

Ahhh thanks, too bad... I was looking really forward to seeing him in the pre-season... i'm excited to see Gomez, Cammalleri and Spacek for the first time on an actual TV tonight, not on my computer.

I would have prefered to see :

Camalerri - Gomez - Gionta
Pacioretty - Maxwell - AK

Geez..Pittsburh inserts one of the 2 best NHL players, comeback with Plek and almost your full lineup.

I'm curious to see if Pacioretty will create more than he did so far in the preseason. He's involved in the plays, but he failed to generate anything with the puck.

We shall see...

For those in the states, just checked and NHL NETWORK is showing the game also. STOKED!!!!! Great lineup up too.

Crosby and Malkin and Fleury. Gionta, Gomez andCAmmm and Price. This is going to be a full effort I'll bet. Things to prove. Glad Ill be able to witness my first game this year with a solid effort.

Price will show us tonight what to expect from him this season. He will rule or crap zee bed.

A defining moment for this season. Strong and calm or deer in the headlights rolling his eyes about to cry. What's it going to be boy?

Intriguing lineup.

Gomez goes with Gionta. It has to be tried and we'll see how well that works, although I liked Gomez with Cammalleri myself. I don't think MaxPac has shown that he should be in a top six role THIS YEAR -- I love the guy's upside, but he hasn't shown he's ready, but the upside is enough that I can see why they'd give him another audition.

Very, very interesting to see Maxwell with real wingers -- scratch that, not real wingers, genuine, honest-to-goodness first-line forwards. I think it says a lot about how he's faring in the team's evaluation.

I'm not thrilled to see Lats back with Lapierre, but with this lineup I can't complain. Having d'Ago on that line means this isn't a checking line but a third offensive line. Lapierre as an offensive center? Can't see it, especially since the line has three shooters, and Latendresse is the best passer on it. It will be interesting to see how this works.

I'm curious to see Maxwell performs with two quality offensive NHL players. His (hands) abilities with the puck are impressive and could serve Cammy well.

AK has to get his hands dirty and get them the puck. That's his role, and I'll check if he does it very closely tonight.

Also can't wait to finally evaluate Weber in front of my TV for an whole game.

They don't stand a chance versus Shawn Belle.

If Laraque is not ready to start the season,IMO they have no choice to bring Neilson around on the road trip, especially in Toronto
