"Rinkside here at the Rangers morning skate where about five minutes ago Sean Avery skated off limping, favoring his right leg after colliding with Ryan Callahan at the blue line in a passing drill."

if he is hurt, and i hope he is not irregardless of enver lisins playing time, it makes us a much weaker team.
period.
he has a week to heal, no problemo......think positive folks
on and Lisin for president.......no but seriously why the hate on the kid, jeesh. If it was a home grown talent like Korpikoski it may be a different feeling

If he were a homegrown kid he would be much more of a known quantity.
"As you’re adding Marian Gaborik’s name to your lineup card tonight, you can scratch Sean Avery from the list, because the left winger was felled by a collision with Ryan Callahan during this morning’s skate. Avery and Callahan came together as they were trying to cross at the blue line during a drill about 30 minutes into the skate, with what looked to be a more leg-on-leg collision than knee-on-knee (let’s just use NHL parlance and say lower-body-on-lower-body). Avery went down in a heap and stayed down for a few moments, then got up skating gingerly on his right leg. He went straight to the locker room and the Rangers sent him to team doctor Tony Maddalo to get checked out."
I can't help but think of when Callahan and Dawes collided in 2007-08; Callahan sprained his knee, missed a chunk of the season, and even when he came back he wasn't the same (even got sent down to Hartford for a while to get himself right).
Hopefully its not that serious.
(What's the deal with Callahan colliding with people...)
