OT- Met Messier & Dolan Tonight at the game

Wow...What an awesome feeling.

Me and a few friends of mine (they post on here as well) went to see the Rangers beat the Red Wings...We decide to step out after the 1st intermission (we sat in section 120) and what do I see..but the great Ranger captain Mark Messier next to me buying HOT DOGS! haha slowly the crowd around us started to realize this and people surrounded him and got his autograph. I got him to sign 2 of the tickets we carried...awesomeness
The story doesnt end there though...right in front of him was Jim Dolan. Funny thing is no one even knew who he was and cared for him. He yells out "I knew coming down for hot dogs wasn't a good idea" I turn around and realize its him right away and I yell "Dolan!"...I'm the only guy that noticed him...He was surprised ... Dolan is a very short dude, maybe 5'3 at BEST. I shook his hand and slowly Messier headed back into the elevator with Dolan and I waived a last goodbye

What a great moment for me as a Ranger fan So glad I decided to step out and buy a hot dog

Too bad you didn't shove Dolan's hot dog down or up somewhere nice.

let me get this straight you saw Dolan and gave him a handshake? Was it like in 24 where that girl has poison on her hand and she gives David Palmer a handshake and right after wards he collapses?

Then again if Dolan is eating a garden hot dog he will collapse on his own

I met Gordie Howe tonight.

GORDIE HOWE. No. 9 Mr. Hockey!

He signed my Red Wings cap and gave me an autographed card.

It was almost a religious experience. What a sweet man.

Howe has never been the same since his wife passed.
