I get it, I went through somewhat similar debates over Leclaire, Brule, Klesla, Zherdev and Methot. So it goes..
Obviously you don't get it, because almost nobody is saying just slate him in the lineup because he's a first round puck moving defender. If he earns the time then obviously he's earned the time and deserves to be in the position that he might find himself in. Every player doesn't need to go the the OHL and dominate to become better. Maybe he will get bored with playing against players who are clearly less skilled than he is. I say let his play dictate where he goes not his age. Every prospect is different so mentioning the above means nothing and that is a fact.
Moore's doing well against pre season lineups, let him have his 9 game tryouts and see what the real show is like and let him work on his game. He took a nice open hit last night that is only a taste of what the real NHL season will be like. Give him a year to work out his game and we'll see him next year.
Picard "setting the energy level" is the PERFECT way to describe his play. He could turn into a Raffi Torres type that doesn't ever slow down. It's like he's learned what to do at the exact moment to do it - whether that's throw a hit or start a fight, or better yet, walk away and leave the other team fuming.
If he does become a Raffi Torres equivalent, I reserve the right to start referring to him as our Quebexican.
As for Moore - I've made my position known enough times, I think.
Remember - when you're a hockey fan, it's not "reckless driving", it's "good forechecking".

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
I believe the Wild used the "only play them 50 games" approach with a few of their youngesters in their early years, like Bouchard, Burns, Koivu, those guys have turned out alright. If the kid earns it, why not?
During the Dorsett fight the game ops has Triumph's Fight the Good Fight playing. I love(d) Triumph.
Nice thought from Jake on the shootout, even though he didn't score. First two shooters deked, he shot quickly.
