It looks like Nashville is actually going with these D-men (pairings are my guess):

Weber-Suter
Hamhuis-Klein
Sulzer-Yonkman

Seems weird to me that they still want a look at Yonkman. I think everyone knows what he brings to the table and it ain't that much. Makes me think (or worry) that Laakso, Franson and Blum are all heading back to Milwaukee and Yonkman is staying with Nashville as the 7th guy and Bouillon is the 6th. Although that would give Milwaukee an awesome defense for this season, perhaps even better than what they had last season as Laakso and Franson are now more experienced and I believe Blum to be better than Sulzer.

Or maybe this is just Yonkman's last chance. I hope so. Playing him ahead of Laakso or even Franson is kind of idiotic. Unless he's really sold on Bouillon as the 6th guy and doesn't want a rookie as the 7th.

Then again, that list may not be that accurate. I just noticed that Radulov is on it...
Yonkman, Blum, and Ellis are all scratched...also Thuresson from Glennon's list this morning.

D-pairings should be:
Suter - Weber
Hamhuis - Klein
Sulzer - Laakso

With our starting defense and goaltenders in the mix, I'm not so sure. Plus, we evidently have our top two lines in (although that roster has Radulov on it, so maybe take it with a grain of salt). Tough to say, though, since I don't really know who Atlanta is playing with. We'll find out here in about ten minutes, I guess.

Anyone listening on the radio? I partly missed it, but I think they said Atlanta will play Kovalchuk-Little-Antropov...

Yep. That line could be tough to contain.

No way that initial lineup report was accurate, as it's already changed and has every player on the roster on it right now...

That's how they usually list them before they have the actual rosters. That's why I was fooled. The list was so short I thought they were the actual rosters. I guess it was just a random list.

Afinogenov is also scheduled to make his ATL debut...

Me, I'm watching Islanders-Devils tonight, but will be checking in on the radio every once and a while...

Starting defense and goaltenders are in for us. Atlanta have a decent team put together, but it's not too much better than ours outside the presence of Kovalchuk.

Yeah, but Kovy just rang the post behind Ellis...Tom and Crispy couldn't tell which...no replay - no goal awarded.

Still scoreless midway through the first...

Josh Gratton from Slater and Kovy with 31.7 seconds left off Sulzer's skate...1-0 Atlanta at the end of 1st.

Holding call against ATL at buzzer starts Preds on PP to begin second period...curse of Callahan continues. Second should be better for the Preds...Pete is on the PBP!!!

Sounds like Laakso and Sulzer aren't having the strongest game. Every time they're on the ice it sounds like the play is in the Preds defensive zone and now they're both -2 as well (and so are Erat, Legwand and Santorelli).

The second goal sounded like Kovalchuk made fools out of every Predator on the ice, though...

I thought when they were calling the play they said that Suter was the one that put it on net. They either called it wrong or it was him.

Gratton scores again??? Off an Erat turnover no less...

I'm turning off the game, too much to do around the house rather than sit here and listen to us lose. Expected when you think about the lineup we sent. One scoring line, a mash of a second line, and grinders...

Isn't it almost 4 a.m. in Finland?

Dedication. No way in hell I would stay up that late to listen to a preseason game.

Have to question your alliance to the team. Did we not come back from a two goal deficate with under two min. against the Jackets? We always play hard till the buzzer. How many games did we tie or win last year with under a min, quite a few that I recall.

While posting we score. 3-2 Atl with 19:00 left, lol.
