Best way to get tickets for preseason game?

Thrashers fan here. I'm going to be in Chicago on Friday night, and I was wondering what to expect for ticket availability. What's my best bet for getting the most affordable seat? Scalper? What are the local laws about scalping? Should I just go thru ticketmaster? Any promo codes? Thanks for your help.

Stubhub is basically giving away upper deck seats for Friday.

You can even get 100 level seats for $28 there.

Thanks. Ended up getting 5th row seats for $35. Let's see how it works out, but I'm happy for now.

Stub hub. Just buy the cheapest tickets and sneak your way into the 100's. Usually some open seats down there in the preseason.

Or Craigslist is pretty cheap too, but Id do Stubhub if its not the day before or of the game.
