Brashear has impressed me so far this pre-season. He is playing great along the boards.

Gilroy is something else. The guy is a dangerous man. Fast, creative and he can finish.

I'm going to get killed for this, but through the first 10 minutes Redden actually looks like the guy I remember from about four years ago. Calm play in his own zone and a couple of BRILLIANT passes.

He must be playing better we have gotten to page 4 without any major Redden bashing.

Redden has looked much better since towards the end of last season. Everyone rags on him and Rozi when without them, our blueline would be really bad. I don't like the contract and of course he doesn't live up to it, but he isn't close to as bad defensively as everyone makes him out to be. Just look how him and Rozi handled Ovi in the POs last season.

Then again, if we could trade him, I'm all for it. That contract is too bloated regardless.

Yep. Can't blame Rozsy for that one (as much as I'd like to).

I love how Gaborik just tries to hold onto the puck and do everything himself...

I didn't see it that way at all on the original view - looked like Rozsie fumbled it. But I will reserve judgment until I see a replay given the number of posters stating it as such.

It looked like Lisin was about to pass it to Rozsival (still not a great move) but then had it knocked away

That was not rosie's fault. I have been a huge supporter of Lisin but that was his fault and albeit a dumb play. He had the opportunity to dish it back to roszival but chose to hold onto it and got stripped of the puck. That whole sequence didnt look good from when they first moved up the ice and entered the zone. Lisin had the puck with momentum and dubinsky just took it from him and then lost it. Lisin recovered it, then Lisin lost it.
