Ryan Parent Injured Left Shoulder

Quote:
Ryan Parent injured his left shoulder in the second period. That’s the “good” shoulder. He had surgery last season on his right shoulder to repair a torn labrum. ...

Under the loose pucks section.

Seems he just edited his comment to
Quote:
Ryan Parent appeared to injure his left shoulder in the second period but he said it was a “face wash.” Parent had surgery last season on his right shoulder.
Guess we will find out more tomorrow.

Well, I guess it could be worse. I'd be more concerned if he had re-injured his surgery-repaired shoulder.

Didn't seem too serious given he played the rest of the game. Hopefully it really isn't serious.

I quickly edited what Panaccio edited.

May not seem too serious. Although he also thought Gagne limped off the ice last game....

Didn't he play a few shifts after?

and I do mean after he tried to hit Parise?

Well Luca Sbisa played last year with an injured grion. So I am sure these players are used to playing with some minor pains.

Parise looked like he was going down when Parent went into him and looked like he hit his face into the boards. I was wondering what the hell he was doing and I don't think they showed a replay.

So is he injured? Or is Timmy being, Timmy as always. He said Gagne limped off the ice. When I watched an interview with Gagne he told him(Tim) he was fine.

He looked like he just jammed his shoulder. Was back for his next shift.

Sore tomorrow, surely.

I wonder if this will be a common thing for Parent, he's tall and lanky, and probably could use some extra muscle

Put on some damn weight and things like these wont happen.

6'3" and 183 pounds at how old?

Same with Carter. He looks like he did the day the Flyers drafted him.

You clearly haven't seen Carter without the pads in the past year.

They showed a replay but it wasn't a very good look at it. Looked like he jammed his head/neck/shoulder into the boards. He reacted after the play like he got his bell rung more than anything else.

there's no way Carter is under 200 lbs. He looks more like 210 and was much thicker last year as well. Those rosters aren't updated at all it seems.

I can guarantee you, Carter didn't look like this when the Flyers drafted him:

Flyers website has Carter at 6'3" and 200lbs. Almost exactly the same height and weight he was drafted at. Just look at the guy...

Hes like a bean pole out there compared to Gagne, Richards, and even JVR.

Seriously, who cares? Carter doesn't even have a history of injury problems. I'm also happy that he's not too big, because that would affect his speed, which is his main asset.

There's absolutely no way Parent is 183 pounds. I've stood next to him often enough to know he's huge compared to me and I'm 180 - and that was a few years ago.

I am not a big fan of TP. When I see him on TV I switch channels. You can put him and eskin on a island together for all I care.
