I don't know, but if I were to guess, I'd say CBC pulled some strings to get exclusivity that night.

The only stoppable goa was the third goal. I still don't get how Neal's goal went in, and nobody would've stopped the second goal.

But that said Eriksson's 2nd goal was still perfectly placed. Budaj is definitely not to blame for the L.

Since you were able to see the game, did it look to you like the Avs played well and largely outplayed the Stars? It sounded like a bad bounce (on the first goal) and some bad early penalties (leading to the 5-on-3) were the difference.

O so he's like Sydor, eh? (It doesn't even matter that he's not with us anymore)

The first 10 or so minute was completely Colorado. Dallas just completely out of it and had no interest in it (they produced a couple of chances still but never got a shot off). Then Colorado started taking penalties and it looked to give the Stars some momentum.

It was pretty even the rest of the way. After Colorado scored late in the 2nd, they started to control the game, but still in the 3rd both teams were pretty even in chances (IMO) despite what the shot count represents.

The stats have the Avs at only 15 shot blocks (from what I rmemeber at looking at the stats last night) but it seemed and looked like A LOT more. Overall, I wouldn't be too let down by the loss last night. It's pre-season and they held their own. Was a pretty good game.

From the CBC website, doesn't look like they'll be showing that game either.

What the F?!? I gotta do some research into this. I really dont want to have to find a free stream on such a big night for Avs history.

No. I mean exclusivity to show hockey that night. CBC has Leafs-Habs followed by (I believe) Nucks-Flames. TSN was originally scheduled to show the other two games.

We are SOL in watching it on TV, unless you have Center Ice.
