(3-2-1)
VS.
Colorado Avalanche
(3-1-0)
6:00PM (PST) @ The MGM Grand Las Vegas, NV
TV Broadcast :NA

PREVIEW Coach Terry Murray indicated Thursday at practice that his roster for Frozen Fury will be reflective of what is out on the ice on Opening Day.
If that's the case, Alec Martinez and Rich Clune will be making their NHL Debuts vs. the Coyotes on Oct. 3.
The Kings will pair Martinez with Doughty on Saturday at Frozen Fury, that could be the opening night pairing as the Kings Sean O'Donnell has been suspended for the first two games of the season. The Kings fourth line of Clune, Trevor Lewis and Kevin Westgarth are skating together and could be the Opening Night fourth line, though there still is competition for the last remaining spots...and 2009 first round pick Brayden Schenn is still on the roster.
Jonathan Quick is expected to play all 60 minutes vs. the Avalanche.
Colorado, of course, beat the Kings 3-2 on Sept. 23.
Paul Stastny and Milan Hejduk scored second-period goals and Craig Anderson stopped Marc-Andre Cliche's penalty shot in Colorado's win.
Anderson, signed as a free agent after playing three seasons for Florida, finished with 30 saves. T.J. Hensick also scored for Colorado (3-1). Peter Harrold and Trevor Lewis scored, and Erik Ersberg had 21 saves for the Kings (3-2-1).
It will be the 12th Frozen Fury with the Kings having posted an 8-2-2 mark (two-game series in 1998).

Yeah, exactly what my first thought was as well.
They're taking the whole "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", way too seriously. I mean, come on.
Also, I am sooo jealous of you guys that are going to Vegas. Especially for the things that will go on after the game. Probably like "Hangover", only that drunken Zad gets punched by George Laraque
j/k (I had to pick someone, why not the hotshot around here
)

Yes Hangover, (watching it again on PPV right now) but, er, um, hungover still and Sapphire was fun. But that was just the warm up, boys and girls. Tonight is the night were gonna push it to the limit.
And televised or not, the post game activities will not be televised, for very good cause!
PS. Vegas odds makers have put the over under on the game at 7. Seven drinks during the 60 minutes of play and two 15 minute breaks, Sounds about right, but for my money, I'm going over

Grabbing a Nathan's and a beer pre-game while the drunken idiots yell, "You suck!" at every passing Avs fan.

The 3rd line scoring again. Assists to Johnson and Simmonds. Is Wayne leading the Kings in preseason points?

Sounds like some broken plays and failed assignments that have led to the goals (rebounds, Wolski regaining the puck from a broken pass). With the lack of a physical defenseman in the lineup, the Kings need to find a way to clear the crease area.
It also sounds like the puck is taking a few crazy hops. That tends the happen with the poor ice conditions at the MGM Grand Arena.
