Lets not deny it.
Gustavsson have played 0 game. Can we wait atleast a year before make a statement that he will be better than Price

Maybe so, but there is a high chance he will be better. I dont wish for Price to be worse than him, its just my prediction.

Scaring no. But my original post left very little room for other real possibilities; which I recognized after posting. My prediction: Gustavsson starter by end of season and Price having up and down first quarter.

so basicly, you fear of getting the crow served to you at the end of the season?

High chance? Do you happen to have a research of some kind?

Oh, and Gustavsson is almost 25 already.

Gustavsson has played well in two segments of preseason hockey and that qualifies him as "going to be better then Price?" Wow, holy over reaction Batman!

Didn't Fabien Brunstrum, last years "the One" score 2 or 3 goals his first game and then blow for the rest of the season?? Wouldn't it be hilarious if the same happened to Gustavsson. I mean give a guy a cool nick name and he's the best player ever! My god, he was never even drafted and is in his twenties now, he should obviously be better then some nervous 18 year old making trying to make the team. God, can you imagine if Gustavsson won the gold medal at the world juniors, took the MVP, then turned pro and won the Calder cup as well as the MVP! Now that would be impressive... wait, this sounds a bit famliar doesn't it...

The stats do back up your impressions.

A lot of it depends if he gets PP time and actually makes useful use of it.

Not to put too fine a fine point on it, but the Pens only outshot the Habs 31-28.

He did. I just saw it on RIS.

Beautiful fight. I hate Kaleta with a passion and it was refreshing to see him on the receiving end of a healthy dosage of fists. He fell to his knees while grabbing his face.

OB's best fight to date I would say.

**** Kaleta.

(I haven't seen a YouTube clip yet...)

What a rotten schedule to start with a 5 game road trip.

Can someone tell me who won between Mara and Gaustad and if O'Byrne had a great game again?

I didn't see much of the game but if the fight reflected his play tonight, then he had one hell of a game. He earned more respect for himself when he defended Pyatt.
