first game's this evening, and the third game's on Sunday. I'm looking forward to see if Tutin turns things around; if Moore and Stals continue to impress; if Lundmark remains on Holik's right.
Preseason started last night with some interesting stories. Funny, I was so excited reading the recaps this morning, you'd think it was the first day of the playoffs.
Of note, John Tripp has a goal and an assist in LA's win over ANA. Go John!
Pretty sure he's eligible for the waiver draft. He started playing professional hockey in 1999 (four seasons ago). I doubt it will be a real problem leaving him unprotected though. He's had significant injuries and didn't play regularly last season. He'd have to knock out a bunch of people with one punch during pre-season to be noticed.
Anyway, it's very possible that Petrovicky will be left unprotected and he should garner more interest from other clubs.

Thanks, Brooklyn
I thought that might be the case and I agree with you.
I'm also hoping that we don't waste a protected slot on Bure. Haven't heard any recent talk of that lately.
