I wonder if Ersberg's in any real danger of losing his spot tonight.

Sounds like Ersberg woke up but the defense fell asleep. Sounded like a horrible give away by Fro

For whatever reason, he doesn't seem to have gotten that chance with the Kings, either. I'm interested to see if that changes at all this season.

Bernier in now. Ersberg faced 14 shots, let in 2 goals in 30 min.

Seems like Richardson isn't physical enough to fill a role in the bottom six and he isn't good enough to warrant a spot in the top six.

He does come off as a bit of a tweener. However, allegedly, he has an above-average shot and excellent PK skills.

Leafs fan.

Any idea whos going to be the backup?

How many games do you expect the backup to play this year?

Will likely be Ersberg, but who knows, Bernier is knocking on the doorstep. I would expect the backup to get 25-30 games this year.

We don't exactly have a stellar lineup for tonight and it's coming off Vegas. No big deal really.

I'm going to guess Ersberg because he would have to go through waivers and Bernier doesn't. That being said, I think Bernier has had a stronger camp.

As far as games, it depends on Quick IMO.

Sounds like Ivanans is in top form, taking a needless penalty.

It will be a great day when Ivanans is no longer a part of the Kings organization.
