I'm still curious to see how he does without Gomez. Like him or not, Gomez set him up a TON of times last year, including a bunch of prime scoring chances he didn't finish.

Like a poster said previously, with the 2nd line forward depth on this team, I'll happily take 20 from him.

I think they will be about even.

I expect around 23 to 28 goals out of both of those guys.

I think Callahan is the kind of kid we need to be careful with on these boards.

We all tend to love the guys who score and bring some "jam" to their game. As such, we sometimes tend to over-value or over-project their scoring abilities.

If Callahan is a consistent 20-25 goal scorer with grit and heart, he'll be a Ranger for a very long time.

I agree 100%...I dont tend to over-value Cally, but he's still my favorite player on the team. I'm realistic in expectations for him. People tend to do the same thing to him as they do with Dubi...

I'm excited to see how he does this season, if he can build on last year and keep it up, then I really do hope youre right about him being a Ranger for a long time.

.

A few years of 25+ goals, but I think that he's going to consistently hover in the 20 goal range.
