A lot of players where on the ice for one goal against today. You probably won't see most of them together on the same line again.

Prospal had a terrible game. Hope he steps it up when it counts.

I don't know if I'm the only one.. but I've noticed Prospal has been making some pretty sloppy ass passes (crisp and with good intentions, though) in the offensive zone and on the PP that have resulted in quite a few turnovers. Hopefully this will stop.

I'm not concerned about Prospal. At his age there is no reason he should be busting his ass in preseason games.

How did Gabby and Dubi look today? I was working so I missed the game..just quickly went through my Tivo to check the goals out though.

Must admit I tend to only notice him in the offensive zone, and today he just couldn't control the puck and gave it away A LOT. Completely ineffective on the cycle.

In response to FlyLine...Gabby was mostly quiet today, had a couple of plays where he looked dangerous heading to the net but got the puck knocked off of his stick before he could shoot. Dubi was solid on the forecheck, throwing his body weight around and cycling down low. I think Dubi and Gabby are the two guys we as Rangers fans should least worry about.

Overall, I think the guys that played best and stood out most were Anisimov and Redden. I also really like how MDZ moves the puck around on the powerplay. He's just a natural.

Well...in the first 2 periods not one player stood out in a positive way. Literally, not 1 single player. So from that standpoint for any player to have 2 horrendous periods in a row, youre going to have to give them a big old thumbs down. Even Prospal wasnt all that great in the first 2 periods...it was in the 3rd where people brought their A games.

I watched the re-run on MSG and it looks like he's using different shoulder pads.

I think I noticed that too. His shoulder pads do look smaller.
