I'll always remember the last game of the season on Sunday, March 19th, 2006 . Quebec were sure to finish second behind Moncton with a lost or a win, so guys decided to party a lot on Saturday night. Radulov was sleeping on the floor before the game and said to a teammate that he didn't want to play today, he wasn't feeling well. He ended up scoring 7 goals and 4 assists in a 16-3 win over Rimouski.

I say trade Serg to Nashville they get there NHL player back who can score them some goals .

we take the chance of Radulov never coming back over BUT again just watch the hero welcome he get in Quebec...if anychance of him every to come back QUEBEC is that place.

The Bell Centre would be "RUDUU RADUU RADUUU" it would be insane
I will be very surprised if Sergei ends up in the KHL. Sergei is too talented, some team will step up and offer a proposal to Gainey for him.

I would rather get a low draft pick from another team. Than lose him to Nashville without a guarantee that Radulov would sign with us.

Well why did Radu leave in the first place? Was he demoted to the minors or was it contract? We don't have much cap room, so why could we offer him more money than Nash?

Patrick Roy said in an interview last year that he had spoken to Radulov who said he didn't like playing in Nashville. Money was supposed to be the second reason.

For once on this board, this is a good idea. Works for both teams. Kost's potential is less than Radu's but they'd take him because they know he wants to play in the NHL.. and if one club can convince Radulov to come back it's the Habs. I also personally think Radulov wants to come back, didn't he mention so last season?

It's definitely a no brainer. But only if Radulov would decide to sign with us.
Except Radulov is a lot better than Kostitsyn...

It's a Hab fan no brainer for a reason.

He was (and as far as the NHL is concerned, still is) on his entry-level contract with Nashville when Salavat offered him a boatload of cash.

I predict a 50-40-90 season if he ever plays in Montreal!

If Radulov had his rights traded to Columbus or Phx id say 0 chance he comes back .

BUT if his rights were traded to Montreal?? id say the odds of him coming back go to 75%.Its a chance id take no questions!

Just watch those vids i posted.

He is a hockey god in Quebec ,he loves every minute of it .

I doubt we could offer him more money than Nashville (cap flexibility) but then again he probably doesn't want to go back there in the first place. The fact that he bolted for the KHL while being under contract with them probably means that he wasn't really enjoying his stay . I also doubt that the Preds would welcome him with open arms after all of this.

When he was demoted to the AHL in the beginning of the 2006-07 season, he even called Roy if he could come back with the Remparts instead of going in the AHL!

I"ve seen him play live many times while he was with the Ramparts, but thanks for posting the videos.

Maybe I'm not as much of a risk taker as you are DM. I would want to know for sure before giving up Sergei.

I think his goals celebrations were a lot less flashy in Nashville.

lololol

the vids i posted was the crowd cheering wildly standing ovation ,chanting his name.... him only as he skated around the ice all by himself ....

it was like Mario Lemieux or Wayne .

No question, Quebec loves the Russian Radulov .

He loves Roy ..Id say in a few years Roy will be part of the Habs again .

This just seems like it would work out .

Even if we have to wait another year or 2 before he comes back over, the wait is worth it , he is burning up the KHL and keeping the rust off his skates .

See that's bad roster management. As immature as he's portrayed himself to be, he's still got value. There are numerous occasions where teams are willing to take on players with "attitude" problems.

As a last resort, if no offers were to come in. Then why not, I would definitely roll the dice and hope and pray for Radulov to sign with us.

But until that time would happen, if I'm Gainey. I do everything in my power to get something of value.

Well he did manage to give Jason Arnott a concussion so they were still pretty wild

I'm not doubting how much Quebec loves him. Or how much he loved playing in Quebec.

What I'm saying is "Does he love playing in the KHL more?"

If he doesn't, I will personally pay for his flight over. If he does, what's going to make him change his mind in a few years?

That's why Gainey never asked me for help

That's fine but what I wanna know is what do you honestly believe we could fetch back for Sergei in your opinion.Cause maybe it's just me but I don't see teams paying up that much.I know he's young but he still hasn't proved anything in this league

whether he wants to sign with MTL or not, who cares haha, not like Sergei wants to be here, and Radulov does have a ton of skill. Just taking a chance would be beneficial.......other than him being a Russian who doesn't wanna play in the NHL right now haha.....
