you must have heard of 1 particular player who needed 40 games before he lost waiver exemption
i went by the chart there and also the waiver calculator on capgeek. the thing about playing more than 40 games came from the 2nd part of the re-entry status.

just to clarify my earlier post. parent can be added to teh list as waiver exempt the rest including powe are all subject.

Im still not sure where this rule is.

I just did waiver calculator and Powe and he is exempt for either 3 more years or 60 more NHL games

This thread is now an unsticky. It has been tagged as "Flyers" if you need to recall.

I wonder if the Flyers will take the price for the worst signing in the league this year.

I was refering to these boards.
OK, now I'm on the the trolley.

Perhaps because Backlund played like absolute crap against Minnesota. Also, Betts is not listed on that roster, so the extra spot was used on a 3rd goalie.

He was up for practice because Backlund has a bit of a bug apparently.

Maybe the bug was a termite and would explain why he was a bag a holes last game .

He is still with Adirondack, not sure if he has a contract or not. Wouldn't he have to have one in order to be listed on their roster?
