That looked strangely similar to the way Lang went down last year....

Not to sound negative, but without Markov for even half the season..it's hard to see us making the playoffs. We need him.

From what I saw it looked like Price's skate cut him somewhere.

I think it was Price's stick slashed him behind the knee.. but I could be wrong.

I know they're skates but are they that sharp to get passed skate protection? and actually cut? damn

Yeah I agree. You think you would have seen something on the replay though.

you people can distinguish the front of the foot from the Achilles tendon or what?

If Markov is out for more than 2 months, the chances that the Habs misses the playoffs are almost guaranteed

From what I saw, it didn't look as serious as an achilles tendon injury, but getting cut by a skate is certainly worthy of stitches.

Please let me be right, PLEASE.

Even Markov out for a couple weeks would kill us

I just meant the way it happened. Something seemingly so harmless making him unable to walk

I still think, based on the RDS replays, it was the front of the foot, not the back of the foot which is where Lang was ''sliced'' last year. *crosses every finger, toe, arm and leg*

Let's not forget none of that happens if Moen doesn't get called for a total phantom goalie interference call.

Spacek - Weber/Subban
Hamrlik - O'Byrne
Gorges - Mara

Meh, doesn't look THAT bad. Our PP would suffer for sure, but I don't think a couple of months without Markov would be the end of the world. We'd probably go .500.

It's going to hurt but it won't be as bad as last year.Spacek can be a mini version of Markov, something we didn't have last year and please don't tell me Schneider was that guy because beside his slapshot he was useless.Spacek can play in all situations like Markov, and Hammer should be back

The problem with that is that Hal ''assistant captain'' Gill isn't sitting anytime soon.
