GDT: Milwaukee at Utah Grizzlies (Phoenix) [7:05 CST] {GAME 2}

This is game two of the doubleheader and the 3rd in as many nights for the Ads (10-1-1-1). If you were ever going to win the tail end of 3 games in three nights, Utah (1-9-0-1) would be the team to do it against. I'm not sure they'll quite put up 7 goals tonight, but 6 would be nice.

Smith gets the first, Haydar gets the second. Kotyk in net again. Ads up 2-0 early.

Very disappointed to see Kotyk in the net. That means that Finley's bruised knee is quite a bit more severe than we thought. Hopefully it is purely precautionary and they didn't want to risk him against a bad opponent.

you're right smokey,hopefully it is purely precautionary as you say,not risking it against a known weak opponent..and not a case of finley being fragile

At the risk of jumping to conclusions, we know how quick officials are to negate PP's with questionable calls in order to even it up. I wonder if that holding call would have been made at ES or with 5 minutes to go in the third.

good interview with Yabo in the intermission. he even SOUNDS like a hoss. good to hear he's having so much fun and enjoys all the ice time he gets and the fact that the Ads usually have big leads which allow him to work on things other than fighting. also good to hear that he stays on his teammates about their workout regimens and what they eat\etc.

Gamache scores again, then Tiley makes it 4-0.

I almost feel sorry for the Grizzlies. This brings back memories of the start of the 2002-2003 Nashville Predators season.

Not sure, but I've heard word that he aspires for a career in the WWE tagteaming with brock lesnar.

Shish from what looks like Klein and Hrkac. 6 goals, that's the magic number (see post #1).

It sounded like more of a third man in type of situation. Spiller jumped Zanon, and Tootoo skated in and dove on top of Spiller.

I missed the game tonight, but it sounded like another good one.

Now on to some heavier competition, the question will be can Finley be up for it?

There's no guarantees he'll even be able to play.
