Me too, but that would be weird. As hell. Try visualizing that. But Crosby is kinda better as player, on the ice I mean. Kinda. Or is he? Hmm. I'm not sure anymore mane. They both hot rats though. They score all the time. And explode.

The Leafs will settle down. We will see a better team, I hope. Toskala won't be embarassed, I hope. Komisarek won't end up charged with manslaughter, I hope. Beauchemin will calm down and show us the rock solid play we witnessed in the preseason, I hope. Schenn will be better, I hope. Stempniak will both be involved in the play, AND display hands, I hope. Wilson will use the 4th line, I hope.

I will stop typing this in redundantly crappy format, I hope.

Didn't see it but apparently he brushed aside Lucic the other night and had people talking. I could see him target the defenders who face him with some nasty body work. I don't think either Schenn or Komisarek are a match for him.

It will be interesting to see if Toskala plays deep tonight, because it could be over quickly if he does.
Good points. I think AO could very well overrun the D, he's a monster and if Schenn and Beauch play like they did on Thursday then we're in trouble. Honestly, I see Schenn playing against AO and getting demolished positionally and physically. He struggled in the pre and continued that poor positional awareness and lack of physicality on Thursday.

And you're right, if Toskala plays deep (which is absolutely inevitable) he's going to get shelled by the Caps' top line. That's the main reason I want to see Gus in there over Toskala because Gus plays and cuts angles whereas Toskala cowers in the net like a scared turtle going into his shell.

Average goaltending? 4 goals on 27 shots is not quite average.

Toskala didn't have a chance on 3/4 of those goals, but needless to say, you cant have a team like Montreal score 4 goals on you in the first place. Lucky for us this game is on the road. This means everyone will play a solid game without worrying about showing off to the fans (like Beauchimen tried to last game). We just have to weather the early storm and I see us taking home a win, or wherever we play next

Id take any starter in the league over Toskala. Doesn't even need to be CuJo.

We should have traded for Vokoun that year. Good thing we had JFJ at the helm.

Sorry bout those weirdo comments made by me earlier. LOL. That was pretty funny though... I guess?

But yeah lets go Leafs!!! I'm surprised if we get any points from this game... Washington seems to be the best team in the league at the MOMENT. They were very strong in game 1. So were some of the Leafs players and lines.... Now let's do this thang mane!! **** what they lookin at!!!!

If Toskala is worth picks at the deadline, he will have exceeded most people's expectations.

The defense will be a hell of alot better without question but we may or may not notice because of the Caps ridiculous first line. Stajan will continue his torrid pace smashing all previous records with over 200 goals this season.

As much as I want to see the Monster in action I don't think tonight is the night you start him... an offense like this one can just shatter any confidence he has which in the long run would be very detrimental. Good for RW recognizing this. Toskala is already ruined so getting pumped won't be much of a change for him! hahaha
