Looking forward to seeing Glen, Georges and Gregory rock the fourth line. G's up hoes down!

Someone mentioned recently Martin would put Cams, Gio, and Gomez together after losing Markov. Badabing badaboom it's going down tonight. Should be pretty interesting to see. Hopefully patches has a better game tonight on the 2nd.

HIT 'EM UP LES BOYS!

Yep, it was O'Byrne on Kaleta.

BTW in response to HABbiest, Kaleta will NEVER engage against Laraque, nor will he ever agree to fight him if invited. The puke would turtle. IMO, the Sabres are one of the teams which we could play without an enforcer. Moen, O'B, Mara I think would be more than enough against them. But keeping Laraque busy is not a bad idea either.

JM: No time to talk Bob I need a favor from you.
Gainey: Sure what is it? St-Hubert?
JM: No Bob, I'm not hungry thanks. What I need from you is to find Spacek and send him in my office
Gainey: No problem Jack, I'll have him in your office by 10am.

*1 hour later* 10:15am.
*Knock on JM's office door*

JM: Come in
Spacek: *open's door* You called for me boss?
JM: Spacek! You're Late!
Spacek: Sorry boss
JM: Have a seat. *Spacek sits* Ok Spacek, I'm sure you've heard of our problems. With General Markov out of the lineup for our upcoming battles, I need someone with confidence, charisma, someone with incredible vision. Someone with Leadership and who can fly. That's why I am choosing you to take over Markov's position.
Spacek: *Interupts* But Boss I can't fly....
JM: Shut up Spacek. Now as I was saying, I need you to use your past experience as a commander on the blue line as you did in Buffalo as well as Florida. Spacek! I am now promoting you to General Spacek. Congratulations! You will now be i charge of leading our Defense.
Spacek: *big smile on face* Thanks Boss, I promise I won't disappoint.
JM: I'm sure you won't. Now get your gear on cause TONIGHT, WE DINE IN BUFFALO!!! With your old team.
Spacek: Yes sir!! *quickly gets up and runs to the exit excited*
JM: Wait! Don't slam the.... *Door slams shut* ..... door.

Will Spacek do the Job that was designed for Markov? Will he be able to lead Montreal's defense vs his old team? Stay tuned to find out tonight at 7pm on RDS!!
that was gold

I won't be able to watch this game as I'm going to a memorial mass.

I am not religous at all, but since I will be in the house of the lord I guess I'll pray that we win (and no one suffers a freak injury! )

I have much faith in this team, even without Markov, Spacek and Hamrlik will step up, as will Josh Gorges.

3-1 victory, Price continues to shine.

I like the look of tonight's lineup a lot...

The Big Three together - all were criticized when they were brought in due to their stature / contracts.
Put them all together and let them go out and prove the nay-sayers wrong!

I like A Kost with Pleks... they've had some serious chemistry in the past and maybe the departure of Kovalev is just what they need to get going again. Pacioretty will be a nice injection of speed/energy on that line. He looked very raw in the first game, but hopefully that was just nerves showing.

I like Moen a lot on the third line... Moen makes more sense with his energy/grit on that line... I can honestly see this line doing some really nice things out there tonight.

Glad to see Stewart in the lineup tonight... again the grit/energy will be a big help!

Here's to hoping for a 2-0 start!

I never said Kaleta would fight Laraque. What I mean't was, when Laraque is in the lineup It would make Kaleta think twice before doing a cheap hit, like the one on Pyatt.

I'm glad that Cammalleri-Gomez-Gionta are playing together. And I'm a fan of Mara..just not the Mara-Gill pairing. Too slow.

Buffalo is being underrated here. I hope Martin and the boys don't make the same mistake, there is a lot of talent & speed on that team. Should be a good game.

I'll say 4-3 habs win

Agreed.

Gill is very good when paired with someone faster. I know they're both lefties, but I wouldn't mind seeing Gill-Gorges together at one point.

Hey, I'm not bashing BGL. If he were consistently healthy, I'll pick him to captain the team. I just don't see the point of putting Laraque out there tonight when you could go with Chipchura or Stewart.
