A stab at lines tonight...

I don't even know who exactly is playing in this game, but I figured that I would take a blind shot in the dark anyway. I excluded the guys that Jim_Bob said skated at noon and then used the starters that were left and the young guys to create these lines.

I can't really see McMorrow and Peters both playing, but that would be really, really fun so I went ahead and did it.

Anyway...

Here's a prediction...

Kotalik-Roy-Afinogenov
Pyatt-Connolly-Ryan
Thorburn-Gaustad-Pominville
Peters-Begin-McMorrow

This leaves two main younger guys, Novotny and Bartovic, on the bench.

Sabres down one, but it sounds like Peters beat the crap out of McGrattan. But that could just be Jeanerette.

Is there anywhere to listen to the game on-line? I can't get WNSA in my area.

Awesome, thanks Rhett. For some reason I didn't see the ListenLive icon!

Great to have hockey back isn't it?
Did they announce the line-up?

All I've got so far from listening is:
Pominville (sp?), Connolly, Pyatt

These lines aren't perfect (seems like Ruff's been changing), but they look something like this out there:

Kotalik-Roy-Novotny
Botterill-Thorburn-Afinogenov
Pyatt-Connolly-Pominville
Peters-Gaustad-Mair

Campbell-Delmore
Jorde-Tallinder
Kalinin-Fitzpatrick

Noronen
Miller

I'm going to the pre-season game in Kitchner on the 30th, hope they dress a decent lineup.

Anyone here planning on playing NHL2004 (PS2) online?

Nope, but I'm currently playing ESPN Hockey 2K4. I suggest you cop that instead of NHL2004.

Anyways, it's nice to hear Jeanerette back in full force. The guy is a riot. As for the game, there's been a ton of penalties hasn't there? Peters is running around taking on everybody, Roy sounds decent, and everyone else have been so so. Then again, can't make accurate assessments on the Sabres play just by listening to the game.

Damn your fast, beat me to it.

Junior Sabre update...Paille has a goal and Voroshnin has an assist thus far in OHL action.
