Price really looks different from last season. Much calmer, more "flow" in his movement. I really hope he can keep up his game.

Price is making a lot of people look real stupid. I know its only 2 games, but if Price was even slightly less good we'd be 0-2 and suicidal.

The cops are waiting at the airport for the Habs to land.

Price will be arrested for robbery I'm hearing.

Jacques Demers is crying.

Darkest day in Habs history

Gionta, Moen, Price, Gomez, Gill, Gorges, Spacek...

All played well in this game, only sore spot I saw was that from AK47...the kid has to step up soon or it is time to go.

This was probably discussed some place, but why has Gomez not been given an A? Think he is upset over it? I can't say he has looked good so far this season, and he didn't seem happy during that CBC interview.

Wow. I would rather be the team outplayed and win, than the dominant team and lose. Its nice to see them find a way to win, sometime good teams (whom we haven't shown to be yet) find a way to win when we have no business winning. They better figure it out and get this thing going, because ugly wins like this and Toronto aren't going to be sustainable. Once we face a team like Washington, Philly, we are going to need to play alot better than that to win.

One thing about all the shots, even with being on the pk, there were few times when I was actually worried. It seemed alot of the shots were lower percentage atleast to me. But we need to get the offense going.

Better be lucky then good at times. Let's just hope the luck holds until the team can get to the top of its form.

1. Price was awesome again.

2. This team is sticking up for each other WAY MORE than any Habs team in recent memory. Love it.

3. Winning ugly. Get used to it until this team gets familiar with each other. We don't have a choice.

4. Very Devils-like win, from great goaltending, to flooding the neutral zone, to 2 former Devils creating the winning goal.

5. I would have taken a 2-3 road trip to start the year with Markov healthy, so it's all gravy on this road trip going forward.

6. So does anyone still wonder why we signed Moen and not Kostopoulos?

Another great game for Price and Moen.
Pleks was good defensively. He worked hard.

Much better game for Gill. Not like he could have been worse than against Toronto but still he didn't look too bad.

Really disappointed by A.Kost
He had 2 good shifts and all the others were just awful.

Better game for Lapierre too.

Not overly impressed by Spacek so far.
He looks like a guy who's coming back from an injury.

The powerplay was painful to watch but I'll give credit to the Sabres, they were excellent on the PK tonight, constantly applying pressure on the puck handler.

I was looking on youtube for some action scene with a guy just acting like nothing happened at the end but I couldn't find one, so this description will have to do.

*huge explosions, gun fight lasts several minutes*
*Black guy with afro is the only survivor, puts on his glasses, walks away with a cigar in his mouth*

It's a lot funnier in my head =p

... You can't compare Martin with Carbonneau, it's just not the same.

What about his drag back of the puck instead of dishing it off he pulls it back and fans and falls....

In the end,

Price > Miller
We were more effective.

This is a new team trying to gel and acquire chemestry together, we were missing Markov tonight, AND we lost two players early in the game... I don't care if it's a 3rd pairing d-man and a 4th line centerman, some guys had to take their minutes.

The defense was much, much more effective at getting the puck up ice as the game went on, we didn't give the blue line too much, and the more the game went on, the more the Sabres had a hard time setting up in our zone.

As for everybody saying we're lucky as hell:

- The only Sabres' goal wasn't lucky I guess?
- We were lucky losing two players early in the game and losing Markov Thursday I guess?!

This is a team gaining chemestry. No Sabres went in the slot today, which is another positive.
