Might be 3weeks and that's a huge difference from 6.
Well I don't know 3 weeks, 4 weeks or 6 weeks. He's still out and it's a huge bummer regardless. Add to this, that after he comes back he'll probably be off on most plays for a while. Not too encouraging, sorry about grinding the pain

4-6 weeks might be a guess, but he's still gone.
****in useless x-ray machines. what a waste when everyone just knows when they have a broken bone.

Thank you for getting me out of my denial..

The fact that he'll be out isn't hard to grasp, but if you can't understand there's a difference between 3, 4 or 6weeks, then you need help.

I'm very well aware O'Byrne will miss a certain number of games. That wasn't the issue. Point is I don't want to be misinformed on the length of his absence, otherwise what's the point of listening to the news??..Just keep watching and he'll be back one day!

Out 6weeks means about 1/4 of the season. 3 weeks is about 9-10Games. That's a considerable difference.

Probably. He's scheduled to be evaluated by team doctors today. Check Gagnon's blog for updates...he's traveling with the team and is usually very in the know regarding injuries.

Ouch...Get better soon O'B!!! Looked like he had really turned it around this year, let's hope he plays well again when he gets back.

Fugewick. Poor guy, every time he gets some momentum.... Well, Souray was the same and he panned out pretty well.

So what kind of knee injury takes 8 weeks but doesn't require surgery? One of the MCL/ACL ligaments can heal without surgery IIRC, but I can't remember which one.

The hockey Gods have not been kind to the habs lately! Let us hope that there is some good vibes coming their way to balance the ying and the yang.

He was the most improved player this year. I wish the other young players would of worked as hard as he did in the off season to improve his overall game. Too bad he got injured blocking a shot.
