Why do people always harp on the negatives? The Canadiens picked up a decent D who can make a good first pass, work the powerplay and has a booming shot. Also, Gainey didn't even need to trade assets. Pair him up with a good defensive D and I think we could all be surprised.

You sure you've seen him play?

Because a lot of those first passes go the other way.

I'm aware he's not a defensive Dman, but don't you feel we picked him up because there was no other NHL rdy Dman available on the market to fill our holes ?

Anyway I just hope he plays for 650,000$
