I'm guessing the 120 covers busfare AND ticket, no?

That's not so bad considering that the seats are pretty gooood.

That's what I'm guessing. I have a few friends that might be down on this as well. This could be uber cool.

This could be pretty rowdy.

Regarding group tix, how do they work? You throw down a deposit for X amount of seats, then when we get there the seats are essentially reserved, and as long as we buy enough tickets at the game within that group you get your deposit back? Or do you have to pool all of the money beforehand? That could be messy and/or annoying.

When I'm comfortable that I can get the money for 50+ tickets, then i sign a contract with the Duck's group sales department. I have to pay, in full, for the tickets two weeks prior to the game. That gives me a month to collect money.

Update: Right now I have a 58 passenger bus, with 2 drivers (safety reasons) for $60 per person. Add in $50 for the game ticket and it's only $110. Not bad!
If it really makes or breaks it for a few people, we can put them in the "Terrace Main" seats for $32, or the "Terrace Value" (nosebleed, end bowl) for $16.50

So far I've got "interest" for well over 50 people between different boards, and friends. I may pass out fliers at Saturday's game. If I can get us over 100, then the prices drop even more!

I've been joking around, but really I think this is an awesome thing you are trying to do. Even more awesome if you can pull it off. Plus, imagine how stunned the players will be to see this kind of turnout, not in Canada. I bet it will mean a lot to them and the org.

Sadly I live in Reno now, so I won't be able to participate

100 would be EPIC. Image 100 people coming off a bus (or two?) all in Sharks gear at the OC. Not to mention we'd all be sitting near one another, correct? Wooooo I'm sooooo in.

For the most part, we'd all be completely next to each other, though there would be a few poor Ducks fans scattered throughout our area

Additionally, if the SoCal Sharks Fan Club can field another 50+, then it gets even better!

Cool. So can you explain how we're going to pay for this? I know the internet isn't a place where people scam other people, but I'd like to know my money isn't going no where. Should we Western Union the funds to you in Nigeria?

(no really, how is payment being handled)

When I'm confident that i have enough people so that I don't get stuck buying thousands of dollars worth of tickets and a bus, then we can do something with PayPal, which will give you a level of security. If people want to use their credit card (which provides additional protection), then I'll ask that people cover the small fees that PayPal will charge me for the CC transaction.

Imagine 100-150 Sharks fans, in unison, yelling "Hey Ducks, you suck!" right before the national anthem, like we do at the Tank!!

It would be awesome and Ducks fans would do nothing, like they always do.

Not even joking, they were actually cheering for the Sharks by the end of the game on Sat.

I read this thread earlier and I was mildly interested.
After Reading this:

I am in serious contemplation. If I went, I would imagine 1 to 3 more people may be interested also.
