sure you could say that. But people would be saying the exact same thing if he stoned the opposition tonight and got a shutout.

And I'll bet you that there is no chance that he's never going to make it. He will, might never end up as a top 2 and he was sold to us, but at the very least, surely within a top 6 in this league.

The Boston Bruins have announced the signing of forward Milan Lucic to a three-year contract extension through the 2012-13 NHL season worth $12.25 million.
4 million per season.

Oh my God. Severe overpayment for Milan Lucic. He can count his lucky stars he was drafted by Boston, it made him a wealthy man. Any other team except maybe Philly, he'd be a 1.5 million man.

I'd say 2.5 mill.

Maybe over three years, but it's his first RFA contract, so the GM should have had all the leverage. 1.5 for 1 year was quite plausible.

Meanwhile Kessel, who is a vastly superior player, gets let go because the Bruins wouldn't pay him 5 million. Yeah, great bit of cap management there. I really don't get the logic.

Savard, like Kessel, is soft. Bruins have no need for that

Right now, Boston runs Savard, Krejci and Bergeron as their top 3 centres. Very nice top 3 centres, but I think they want a more balanced approach than Pittsburgh, than have all their marbles in the centre position. Plus Pittsburgh's centres are just awesome, so...

The point is, Savard is probably gone.

I wonder how many ''big 4'' references there will be tonight from baldy?

It's already bad enough TSN just had Komisarek as one of the stars of the league in their opening.

I wish there was an option on TV where you can mute Pierre McGuire.

It's much more lively when they play their archnemesis Senators!

Stalberg should've had his head up. Pierre needs to take it easy on Kovy, everything hes telling him to change is just Kovalevs style.

Sadly, yes. I feel bad for Leafs' fans as most of them can't ever get to a game due to the suits grabbing all the tickets.
