Man I wish I could be at this one. Habs ALWAYS lose in Vancouver, time to turn it around!

I've never seen the Habs win in Vancouver since when we did actually have success there I was way too young to be able to stay up late.

Time for that to change.

BTW, the Habs flight was exactly 1 hour according to flightaware. They got in at 11 PM Pacific. The ''tired'' excuse really doesn't fly for this one.

Optional Skate this afternoon, only forwards on the ice, Pacioretty and Andrei Kostitsyn

Damn lazy, selfish Russian, stay in your room like the rest of the team!

On a serious note, after last nights game and this today, it really looks like Andrei is comitted to having a good season.

There were points last night where he looked like Havlat. If Martin can get to Andrei like he did with Havlat, Andrei could man the second line by himself!

If they play like the did last night, I like their chances.

Plus, this is Price's first ever start in front of his hometown... I expect a big game out of him.

"Coach Jacques Martin confirmed that Price will start. He said he was contemplating some other changes but would wait until game time. The best bet is that Matt D'Agostini may be back in the lineup after two games as a healthy scratch."

While i do share your enthusiasm for Andrei, that isn't what the article on hi/o says.

a dozen players showed up, 2 goalies, 2 D (gill/weber) and by process of elimination 8 forwards.

Hopefully Martin plays D'Ags tonight. I really am not a fan, but I think he may be a decent fit on the second line, and if not pop Moen up there. That guy is a one man wrecking machine - he'll open up some space for Pleks and AK - kind of like Lucic with Kreijci et al

Im hoping for a big win, something that will allow me to post on my hockey pool (shared with 10 canuck fans 1 oilers fan and 2 leafs fans.) "HAHA" or maybe "OMGLOLZORS!" something to make me forget about last year in Vancouver.

Here's the quote from Habs Inside Out

"Second-liners Max Pacioretty and Andrei Kostitsyn were on hand and the only defencemen among the dozen attendees were Hal Gill and Yannick Weber"

Oh c'mon, Sesame Street references are I was agreeing with the Info you posted. 12 players, 2 D, Both goalies. 8 forwards (Andrei being one of the eight)

edit: I don't actually know what either one of us is trying to say at the moment so how about we let it die? lol.

No problemo - here's to a similar effort as last night for 3 periods this time

If anyone really wants to know the 8 forwards on the ice this morning in Van:

Lapierre, Latendresse, Kostitsyn, Chipchura, Pacioretty, D'Agostini, Stewart, Laraque

Looks like Metropolit is out again tonight...

Quote:
L'absence de Glen Metropolit se prolonge. Victime d'une blessure la cage thoracique qu'il qualifiait de mineure, dimanche, Metropolit n'est pas sur la patinoire ce matin Vancouver

Predicting a win for you guys tonight.

Price faces 40+ shots as the Canucks hope to rebound from playing like crap, only Price turns into a brick wall and ruins it. Luongo, despite only face 20 shots, lets in three goals as the Habs win 3-1.

stewart is the fastest one on that line and if you watch the video of that goal last night if he were on the boards like you guys say he should have been that pass never would have been close chipper just turned and shot it trying to get rid of it

Two of them have no business missing any amount of practice with the way they are playing.
