We have way too many career AHL'ers on this team.

If Price gets booed this season, will he request a trade like Roy?

The big problem is O'Byrne. With O'Byrne in the lineup we were 2-0. Without O'Byrne were 0-2. Markov who

I think he's pointing out that Price was exceptional in the first two games of the season. Without the good goaltending they've gotten thus far, this team is 0-4.

I hope that Gill's fight shut up Laraque.

Eh, ask me to panic in 15 games. That's what every ex-player, ex-coach, ex-whatever (& Marinaro who is ex-skinny) who drones on about the habs daily has said for a system to take hold. If they are .500 after the first 15, then it's a good start.

Well, we pass the puck well but man do the Habs need to get better at positioning on the ice.

4 games in is still early on but the Habs have not been convincing at all yet. I know we're without Markov and all but come on... our second line sucks balls. I like the 1st and 3rd lines, though.

The ONLY Hab that had a good game tonight was J.Gorges. And Price should be pissed at his teammates because that was outright BRUTAL.

Speaking of brutal, I looked the word up in the dictionary and saw a picture of Hal Gill. Come back Patrice Brisebois - all is forgiven!

....

So Price steals 2 of his 3 starts... Seriously, we should be 0-4. Price has stolen 66% of the games he's played.

...and he wasn't great tonight, but he wasn't exactly bad either. The team was horrid in front of him. He didn't allow a single weak goal.

Halak was average. He neither won nor lost the Calgary game.

So we have four games... two all-star performances, two average performances... and your starter has stolen two-thirds of the games he's played.

Yep, our goalies suck.

weber, dagostini, chipchura, stewart and paci

there is no one in hamilton and on the team
to replace 5 players.

After tonight he'll probably call SKost and ask him he he wants to switch places.

Back to back and because of timezone, they were playing as if it was midnight! At that time, those guys are usualy drunk at bars..

The good news is: after the trip, we're playing Colorado, Trashers, Islanders, Rangers, Senators.. so we might get 6 straight wins

Hopefully you're right. Some folk are losing their **** but the chemistry, system will come together at some point. If not, we're el screwed-o.

2000 was the last time CH won in Van. Ouch. Kinda like the damn Devils.

7-1 is just sad. My gf and roommate will be happy they went to bed as the game started.

Well Bergeron would cover Weber eventually. Beyond that, you have a point. Glumac might not be a bad 4th liner? *shrug*

How much do you guys think travel has to do with Montreal's performance tonight? It seems to me that east coast teams like the Habs simply don't deal with roadtrips out west as well as teams like the Canucks deal with trips back east. I think we can all agree that the Habs are better than they showed tonight, and they definitely looked tired. Can you blame travel for the loss, and ultimately, does it even matter? I don't know montreal's schedule, but I doubt they have a more taxing road trip than this one for the rest of the year.

Why does every Price fanboy have to make excuses every time he plays a bad game ? He let in 7 goals on 32 shots, that's the bottom line. (and if you really believe he was thrown off by not playing yesterday, then you must believe he's really (really) mentally fragile, to the point where we should trade him for whatever we can now; because he'll never be able to become a legitimate #1 goalie)

However, I do think that Price should get the next start, he's played 2 great games and a bad one, compared to Halak who's played one bad game. If Price plays badly next game, then go back to Halak next time.
