For the time being, yes. Time will tell if he stays. I believe he is doing the whole eye-in-the-sky thing. Nachos and a notepad in a suite. What a life.

I recall him during his days with the whalers and later with nj. He was a keen player during the 1980's Though small in stature he could score because he often found himself in perfect position because he could wheel into the shooting lanes when utilizing his advanced skating ability compared to other nhlers of the 1980's. He tallied 20 goal seasons 5 times

He and Don Maloney played together from junior to the minors and all the way to the NHL. Their wives are sisters. I believe Doug is also in business with Don's brother(I might be remembering that wrong). Also, I believe he and Dave Tippett are former teammates from Hartford. I think his job is probably pretty safe.

If that's the case than Don Maloney is married to Lou's other daughter. I don't know anything about either man's wife other than the fact that the two are sisters.

I hope he stays. Can't have too many former Whalers on the staff for me.

I think Mike Liut has been coaching for a while. Maybe we could give him a try as a co-Goaltender coach.

Ron Francis and Joel Quenville seem to have pretty good jobs, but if they come on the market I'd like to think we could find a place for them.
