Making some concessions to a new local ownership group so the team can actually stay in Glendale would be an even nicer show of support.

Just wondering aloud here but anyone know what authority/investments Moyes has over Westgate? I'm thinking he had a hand in blocking the Coyote rally being hosted there. Westgate claimed it was for political reasons but to me it was no more 'political' than having a pep rally for Godzil..err Jordin Sparks.

I think Ellman has most of the control over Westgate. When they spilt up Ellman took Westgate and Moyes took the Coyotes. So, unless he called in a favor, and Ellman was actually willing to give it to him, I don't think he has a whole lot of pull.

The thing at Arrowhead mall was a joke. We were there, decked out in Coyotes jersey's from 5-6:30pm and walked the entire mall, much of it repeatedly while shopping and not a single encounter. There was one other guy that was wearing a free Coyotes shirt that they give at the games, but no other Coyotes anywhere. I know it was during gametime, I had the game recording on DVR, but still you'd think in all that time we would have been recognized by this promotion.

The one store said that Howler was in the mall during the morning and they had camera crews and all sorts of stuff for a few minutes. I'm guessing that was the "promoting" that Glendale did. I guess if you don't have a job, work 3rd shift, or you are a stay-at-home mom (tough job...seriously) then they will market to you.
