Hershey Bears 2009-10 Preview now up

Hey all, I just finished my Hershey Bears preview for the season and it is posted on the main page. Probably a lot of stuff that you already knew, but i think it is a good overview of the team. Let me know what you all think!

Thanks Dan, great write up. Should be #11 this year, we sure are loaded from top to bottom. Bright future here in the nations capital.

nice overview...

nitpicks: Bruess left school after his junior season - do you know that he graduated? FWIW, Miskovic played 4 NCAA seasons. Although he is starting the season in SC, I think a mention of Finley would have made sense, too. The message doesn't change in terms of NA pro hockey and consistency, but technically, Osala is a 3rd year pro since he played/was rookie of the year in Finland in 07-08.

sk8-

I had read somewhere during the summer that Bruess was finishing up his degree, but I cant recall where it was. Your right, I probably should have chosen a different way of saying he left school since I was not 100 percent sure. As far as Finley goes, I definitely should have tied in something with him and Sugden (as a possible backup if Sugden were to get hurt or something). And on Osala, I should have clarified "North American Professional." Thanks for the constructive criticism. I love hearing feedback so I can improve on my articles as time passes by. Keep it coming!

PS. Go Caps! Beat the Rags! I'll be in the nosebleeds as always

Glad you took it constructively, that's how it was meant.

Finishing up the semester, i.e., leaving the Bears to return to school/finals doesn't equate to graduating. It's possible, I just would be surprised if he graduated in 3 years.

About Sugden and Finley, I chose not to mention him, there were enough nitpicks already listed, but if you go that route, you also need to mention Grant McNeill...he's injured right now, but he'll be in the mix for playing time along with Sugden.
