Interesting note

I just read in the Edmonton Journal this morning that the Stars are more impressed with Mike Smith then they are with 'Cash' in training camp right now. The paper says that when Tugger's contract runs out, they think that Mike Smith will move into the back-up role and Jason will be playing another year in Utah.

Thoughts? Comments?

Possible because Smith I think would still be looked at as a backup while Cash would need to play everyday for another year or two so that they could determine if he is the Heir apparent to Turco

Smith is a lot like Turek. He'd be a good backup, but probably exposed as a starter.

Bacashihua is better suited to being a starter.
