What an amazing night for everyone here, regardless of what baseball team you support.

Even the 2nd line was tremendous tonight. Brown was flying out there.

Big trip coming up here with a tough one to start in Stl.

Go Kings!

Not a single player was a minus tonight, 911 line had 3 points each, 12 different Kings had a point tonight, only three players were below a +1 tonight and that was the forwards for the fourth line (all a 0). Terrific play. Stoll was 6 out of 16 in the face-off circle though.

Kings have two lines going extremely well right now.

Purcell looked great tonight too.

Jack Johnson is slowly becoming perhaps our best overall defenseman. I thought he had a great game tonight. Was ferocious all over the ice.

Kings horrible PK protected by Kings badass offense! Discuss!
Can you IMAGINE the reaction if you would have predicted this even 6 months ago?

smyth has been outstanding. the kings haven't had a guy with that combination of drive-the-net, intensity, and scoring ability since deadmarsh. i'll miss quincey, but holy cow that trade looks good so far.

Best game yet, by far.

I think the Blues will be a real test. They are very similar to us.

I agree that something about Doughty isn't right. He looked pretty slow to me at times tonight. Is he just out of shape maybe?

Hopefully that Purcell goal will get that second unit going. We need that line to contribute. This season will be one long battle.

Kopitar is putting it all together..offense, defense. He'll earn that pay, no doubt.

The Los Angeles Angels played in Wrigley Field (LA had one too) and in Dodger Stadium. They called it Chavez Ravine a name the Dodgers still use.

He could wear a too-too for all I care as long as he can still hold on to the puck for 2 minutes at a time. . . Well, maybe not.

His timing just seems off to me. Even on a lot of his mishaps, he's making the right play, just a second too late or soon.

He may be pressing things a bit trying too hard to impress the Team Canada brass. Or he could be trying to hard too live up to the ridiculous expectations created by his unexpected rookie year. Either way, I'm pretty confident he'll be fine.

How can you guys hate Purcell so much.
Everytime when it's critical he scores a goal........
I love that guy....... Schenn has to grow up faster to center that line with Brown
