History
Season Series: 0-0-0
Last Year's Series: 2-2
Last Game: Ottawa 3 @ Atlanta 6
Players to Watch
Ottawa:
Spezza has scored 3 goals and 2 assists in the last 2 games Vs. Atlanta. He's had no success in the first 3 games for the Senators and now has lost Daniel Alfredsson on his wing. Should be interesting to see how he responds to this change.
Atlanta:
Kovalchuk is leading the Thrashers in almost every category. He is the Atlanta Thrashers. The best goalscorer over the past 7 years, if the sens can stop him, they will probably win the game.
Streams
Video: None known at the moment, but NHL Gamecentre may carry it if an atlanta channel is covering the game.
Audio: The Team 1200

Elliott is expected to start
Kovalchuk is on fire 4 goals from 6 shots . The Thrashers are looking good , it will be tough to get a W if Spezza and Kovalev can't get it going

I'm looking to get 2 tickets to this game, for upper bowl, anywhere but the ends and preferably lower half. Any recommendations? I was looking at the official Sens site and the prices seemed pretty steep (like 60$ a ticket if I was reading it right)

Saturday's Lineup:
Hummm? Two LWers playing with Spezza who also shoots left. Two RWers playing with Fisher who also shoots right. Two RWers playing with Regin who shoots left & finally a LWer, a RWer & a centre who shoots left.

wow their highest hitter only has 5 hits and is also very young?

www.usedottawa.com
Search it in there and you'll get loads of results and the prices are pretty fair. You can also negotiate a bit through email and pick them up right before the game.

I got my tickets on Kijiji today. Good times.
Many tickets were still available this morning on Capitaltickets.ca.
It's going to be an exciting game, I hope our stars finally wake up from their slumber.

Wow, must have had a lot of tickets go quick. I was checking this morning and there was still tons of the center ice-upper bowl $40 tickets left.

The hit stat is very subjective, and every arena is different in what they believe constitutes a hit. It's a pretty useless stat a lot of the time.
Ottawa has one of the more generous stat guys in the league I find.
Evander Kane should probably keep his head up if Volchenkov is on the ice. He's out to pwn all noobs.

Interesting factoid: Elliott's first NHL win came against Atlanta... it was on Oct. 10th, 2007. Tomorrow is Oct. 10th and Atlanta is in town.
Eery.

Pretty disappointed it's not on TV when Elliott may start. Leclaire is obviously the talk of the town, but Elliott still has lots of potential and I was interested in seeing what adjustments he made over the summer, as he always comes back better than the year before. He barely got any work in the pre-season as well.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Kuba?? Picard and Campoli is the scariest tandem for mistakes I've ever seen...can't wait till Kuba's back or Lee is called up to take his rightful place over Picard.

Might snag myself a ticket tomorrow. Two games attended in a row would be a record for me.
. Would also double the amount I took in all last year.

So this is in Ottawa, and CBC can't be bothered to show it?
They need to take a bat, rap it in barbed wired and shove it up their ass.
