I'm pumped. Sean "the swagger" Avery is back tonight! And all this talk about fourth line minutes is going to last about 2 periods. Say what you want but that guy makes something happen every shift. Should be a heck of a game.
G Jean-Sebastien Giguere could get his second start of the season since it’s the first time the Ducks have played on back-to-back nights. However, Coach Randy Carlyle also tends to go with a winning goalie and Jonas Hiller has allowed just three goals in wins over Boston and Philadelphia.
NEW YORK — Ducks defenseman James Wisniewski suffered a sprained right shoulder and is week-to-week after getting injured late in Saturday’s 3-2 shootout win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
Defenseman Brendan Mikkelson was recalled from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. One of the final cuts in training camp, Mikkelson has played in two games with the Marlies and recorded one assist.
Here is teh second one I edited, containing Highlights from his 2009 Return.
You out did yourself again bro. I like the 2nd one even better. Maybe it's the song. I'll be showing this to my newest Ranger fan friend of mine who started watching the Rangers because of Avery. Good video to get pumped before the game.
Edit** whats the name of the song? I didnt see it in the info?

Actually Mikk had an amazing camp and pre-season and should of stayed instead of Brookbank. Mikk is VERY solid now and has matured quite a bit from last season. I am very comfortable with him being in the game in place of Wis who has had a very rough start to the season regardless of what his numbers show.
I wouldn't worry too much about Arty either, it looks like RC has a leash on him as far as physical stuff so all he has been doing is taking really stupid penalties. Look for Perry, Getzlaf and Ryan to bring it hard today as they were virtually invisible yesterday.
I still think Giguere will get the start tonight as Hiller proved time and again last year that he is horrid in back to back starts.
