Something along the lines of Kaberle + for Brunnstrom and Dallas' 1st in 2010
I'll go with this one, or you could add Turco and its good, but maybe
Dallas:
Kabrele
Toskala
Toronto:
2010 First
Turco
Brunnstrom
2010 4th

Toronto should trade Kaberle to get a 1st and more back.
Ottawa should trade one of Campoli or Picard for Brunnstrom / a pick.

No, trading 1 problem for another, no puck moving D for a crappier goaltender. As crappy as Turco has been I would much rather have him than Toskala. Plus too much going back to TO.

I like Brunnstrom, and I actually think he has the potential to be a perennial 30 goal scorer, but he's the Stars best trading chip in terms of value and because of the fact he's the most expandable forward among the top 9.
If the Stars somehow decide to make a splash to upgrade in net or on the blueline (#1/2 defenseman), I would expect Brunnstrom to be involved.

Hagman isn't some kind of throw in. He is good forward capable of 20 goals and 50 pts.
Leafs will never do that deal. U want Kaberle
AND Tlusty,
AND Hagman?
No thanks, we need Kaberle. If he goes, we are a lock for a bottom 5 finish.

Pens may be able to use Brunnstrom but i think Shero wants to keep Gonchar, Letang, and Goligoski. Can't have too many of them.

That's a lot of potential for Dallas to trade away. Vincour is tought of well in the Stars system, while that first could be anything, from a bottom 10 pick to a lottery pick. Dallas would thankfully decline, me thinks.

I don't know if either team wants to do it...but Campbell would look good on that Stars roster and Dallas has the cap space...

The only demand he had was to be welcomed at the airport and showed around. He was a free agent and was not forced to sign for any one.

Be that as it may, he fits the need right now....despite his horrific contract. But you may be able to weasel some more out of Chicago just to take on his contract.

well from an oilers perspective
We have Lubor, Gilbert and Grebs as puck moving d-men
Curious as to what dallas would give up for say a
Lubor + Cogliano for Brunnstrom +

No, no and doubly no. Edmonton might have nice puck moving D... but we don't have size to give to you for your top 6.
Gilbert for Daley.

Dallas would do that, IMO.

What are you talking about regarding size? Gilbert is a better defenseman than Daley.

It would have to be Gilbert for Daley +
I don't see the oilers having any interest in moving a 6-3 puck moving d-man for a 5-10
Gilbert is a better all around d-man

I don't think + is needed...Edmonton needs cap space to sign Cogliano/Grebeshkov/Brule/Gagner next year... 1.7mil in space is worth SOMETHING to Edmonton.
