Can anyone comment on the quality of the broadcast. Should I try it on a one game at a time first?
The quaility is not great, I had a season pass last year and got one again this year. If you want to see your AHL team play but don't live anywhere near the rink, then it's worth it depending on how bad you want to see your team. I find it's little too expensive and the quality isn't great, not that it's bad but case in point, I live on the east coast, just the other day I watched a game on the net from Moscow for free and the webcast was cyrstal clear. Then I watch a game in Hamilton and the feed was just average, the audio continues to have issues (the sound drags or slows down so it sounds like the announcer is talking slower but it usually don't last long, a second or two but happens throughout the game, it did last year and once this year, as the other game didn't have any sound for the season opener)
But I want to see Hamilton play so despite so average feeds, some minor audio problems, an expensive product (150 bucks US for 80 AHL whereas I pay 164 bucks US for over 1000 NHL games on tv) but I enjoy getting to watch my team play so it's worth it for me.
