How was it when the team made the playoffs that 5 or 6 years

As per ESPN:

1996/97 - 15,585 (lost in first round, 4-3 vs Anaheim)
1997/98 - 15,404 (lost in first round, 4-2 vs Detroit)
1998/99 - 15,547 (lost in first round, 4-3 vs St. Louis)
1999/00 - 14,991 (lost in first round, 4-1 vs Colorado)
2000/01 - 14,224 (missed playoffs)
2001/02 - 13,165 (lost in first round, 4-1 vs San Jose)
2002/03 - 13,229 (missed playoffs)
2003/04 - 15,467 (missed playoffs)
2004/05 - 00,000 (lockout)
2005/06 - 15,582 (missed playoffs)
2006/07 - 14,988 (missed playoffs)
2007/08 - 14,820 (missed playoffs)
2008/09 - 14,875 (missed playoffs)

The seasons in bold were played at AWA where there were around 3000 obstructed view seats (couldn't see one of the goals). Half of the 03-04 season was also played there.

The key to those figures is paid attendance and gate, which I don't have any numbers on. If you fill the arena as a sellout but each ticket is $1 it doesn't mean much. I know for a fact that many seats have been papered for the past couple of years, given away as free for promotions to fill the arena.
