Noticed that. This is as much as they played the first two periods of the last couple games. I imagine its too save the legs of the top 3 for the game and the rest of the road trip. They'll probably get lots of minutes tonight and the next game and tail off the last few.

I don't like this double-shifting of Smyth on the 4th line. Let him get some rest. No need to risk an injury by playing him more than he should. He's already prone to it

It did, at the very end of the game while protecting a lead.
Ivanans getting benched in the last few minutes... isn't that what everyone wanted last year?
