Per Bjurman on NYR-Aftonbladet (Swedes click this thread)

I remember last season some of our blueshirt brothers from Sweden shared with us a Swedish blogger who posted information that was a little more detailed and personal to the players on the team with an emphasis on players like Henrik (and at the time Sjostrom & Naslund). He also tended to be a bit more comical than the mainstream beat writers like Gross and Zipay giving funny nicknames to people (torts = the cake).

I couldn't find the old thread that was on this subject, so I apologize, but can some Swedes translate Per Bjurmans better NYR blog posts again for those of us who want some unique info that we can't get from the main guys (or read from the aftonbladet.se website)? Google translate does no justice here.

A little taste from last nights post game, my comments in (....):

"When we walk into the Rangers locker, The Queen (Bjurmans nickname for Valiquette) once again says hes impressed that I make the trip for every Rangers game (Vally makes that joke often, like he thinks Bjurman flies from Sweden for each game. Truth is, and Vally knows that, Bjurman lives on Manhattan the whole season)
- "Same joke as always" I reply, and doesnt think something special about that.

But my comment meet some joy over at the goalie corner.
- "Tough crowd", cracks Lundqvist while the Queen laugh his a** off."

Something like that

I'm not from sweden, but understand the language pretty well, like most scandinavians. I love this blog too, great, great reading.

And for the record, i think Ola and chimp could do a more accurate translation, but just wanted to share some of his stuff from last night.

Hahaha thanks AlwaysARanger.

Yeah this guy never fails to make me smile or laugh out loud when I read what he says (in properly translated English). And haha I didn't know vally was called "The Queen" thats hilarious!!

I do think it was Chimp who ended up sharing this or translating it for us now that I think about it.

Thanks again for the translation, this blog is one of my favorites and I just wish I could actually read it!

Thanks for finding it for me. Guess you can close/delete this one now if any mods around. (or merge it).
