Yet enough tough opponent to start the season. I am really impressed with how this team despite its make over has responded against some really tough opponents to start the season.

Lets go for 6 in a row!

3rd game in 4 nights. Kings aren't bad. Won't be easy. Hoping we can grind one out here

Should be a good one. Would sure be nice to make it 6...but as long as they fight for 60 minutes I'll be happy.

This will be a huge challenge for the Rangers. The Kings have a very nice looking, young team.

By the way, these GDTs are out of this world!

If i recall right, gaborik destroyed LA single handedly on several occasions.Lets keep that tradition rolling.

We should really organize a GDT person system

I think that was a common theme with most players considering the Kings goaltending situation in the past few seasons. They have a pretty respectable young duo now. Wont be an easy game and the fact that they have more leadership this season makes them a very interesting team this year. I really think they are a playoff team if they can stay relatively healthy so it should be a good test.

5-2 Rangers

Dubinsky
Higgins
Kotalik(PP)
Boyle---will want to show why he deserves to be in the NHL
Gaborik

Gotta pepper the backup for the Kings with shots since this is his first game of the season. We have the talent to overwhelm him. And it has to be done right out of the gate. Do not let him settle and feel comfortable in net.

Thanks man, appreciate the compliments. Its all for the team!

AOWRanger - I'm actually going to be away for a month on holidays (to India) Oct 15 - Nov 13, so I won't be able to make any for a while. But I agree we should set up a thread where we allocate the GDT's amongst different volunteers for each month. Gives everyone a chance, and shares the workload too.

Eh...no. The most he ever scored on us might of been a goal or two in a game. You might be confused when he was a wild and he scored 4 or 5 goals against you guys. I pretty sure that's the most he has ever scored in a game

Should be a pretty good game. Their top line has 23 points in first 5 games and the team has 19 goals in 5 games. Lets not forget that it's our 3rd game in 4 nights too.

Picking Rangers to win though, 4-2.

Gabby, Callahan, Kotalik and Prospal with 1 each.

LGR

3rd game in 4 nights against a young, offensive western team who haven't lost at MSG since 2000.

4-2 Kings with an EN to seal the deal.

I'm a realist. Prove me wrong Rangers!
